About Malta | About Gozo | About Comino
There are 7 islands in the Maltese chain, though not all are inhabited.
Once you decide to island hop, you will find your decision will not be regretted, as you will come to understand the difference that each isle has to offer.
Gozo is quieter than its more well know neighbour and offers lush green fields and rambling stone walls which stretch from coast to coast.
Its history is steeped in Greek legends and more modern day miracles are worked at Ta Pinu, the national shrine. As you travel, you will discover quiet sleepy villages where life continues as it always has done.
On arrival to the island, you find yourself in the sheltered harbour of Mgarr, which is dominated by the gothic church of our Lady of Lourdes. On the north coast, Marsalforn offers the best resort facilities on the islands with a range of bars and restaurants and the largest beach on the island. Xlendi, on the other hand, is a sleepy fishing village with a relaxed feel.
Inland the villages of Sannat and San Lawrenz offer tranquil hamlets, with delightful views over the island and out to sea.
