DAY 1 - TUESDAY
Depart the UK on your regional service with Air Malta. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred
to your hotel in Mellieha for the duration of your stay.

DAY 2 - WEDNESDAY (B)
Our journey starts in the Upper Barakka Gardens, where breathtaking views of Valletta’s Grand Harbour await.
Making our way through Valletta we will arrive at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the home of Caravaggio’s famous painting
depicting the Beheading of St. John The Baptist. Next we head to the Grand Master’s Palace State Rooms, which
houses beautiful frescoes. Our tour concludes with a midday show at the Casa Rocca Piccola, which displays 400 years
worth of historical nobility items! The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Why not use your free admission voucher and visit

DAY 3 - THURSDAY (B)
This morning we head for Zebbug where you can browse the local fare at their weekly market. After a visit to the
ornate St. Philip’s Parish Church we continue to the beautiful Buskett Gardens. The rest of the day is spent exploring the
island’s valleys and driving along the unspoilt and rugged northern coast. Sites en route include the majestic Dingli
cliffs, the Girgenti Valley and the picturesque areas of Golden Bay, Manikata and St. Paul’s Bay.
DAY 4 - FRIDAY (B)
Today we start with a visit to the Gardjola Gardens in Senglea which offers views across to Valletta and the
Grand Harbour entrance. Afterwards we head to Vittriosa, where we visit the Inquisitors Palace and explore the
winding streets of the Collachio, originally home to the knights, before arriving at the island’s oldest parish church -
San Lawrenz. Our visit to The Maritime Museum offers great insight into Malta’s maritime history. The tour ends with a
panoramic drive along Valletta’s city walls. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 5 - SATURDAY (B)
A grand start to the day, Palazzo Parisio marks our first stop! This elaborate palazzo boasts a magnificent interior and
some of the finest gardens in Malta. At the famous Blue Grotto we embark on a boat trip (charge) through the
iridescent waters of the cave. We step back in time, as we explore the nearby ancient Hagar Qim and Mnajdra
Temples. Finally, at Marsaxlokk we soak up the atmosphere of Malta’s largest fishing village.
DAY 6 - SUNDAY (B, D)
A free day to enjoy at your own pace. You could visit neighbouring Gozo to explore it’s natural wonders or,
alternatively, head to Sliema, Malta’s premier shopping resort. This evening we sample the local flavours of Malta
with a sumptuous meal in a traditional restaurant in the village of Mosta.
DAY 7 - MONDAY (B)
Our final day takes us to the ancient walled city of Mdina. Here you can marvel at the Mdina Cathedral and museum,
where works of art by the Knight, Mattia Preti can be admired. One of the oldest structures in Mdina, the Palazzo
Falson offers a glimpse into the lives of medieval noblemen. We continue to Rabat where sights visited include the fine
mosaic compositions of Domvs Romana and St. Agatha’s Catacombs. Finally we enjoy the beautiful flora of the
famous San Anton Gardens.
DAY 8 - TUESDAY (B)
Transfer to Malta Airport for your, return flight to the UK, or extend your stay. |
