Malta's warm clear and tideless waters offers a wealth of diving opportunities to beginner and expert divers alike. After a flight of just over 3 and a half hours, divers can experience crystal clear deep blue waters with unbelievable submarine topography, fish life and wrecks, the numbers of which have increased following the Maltese government's Artificial Reef Programme. English is widely spoken, meaning there are plenty of English speaking instructors and getting by is easy.

Air Malta are pleased to announce that for departures between 01 December 2011 and 29 February 2012 (both dates inclusive) the charge (€20 if booked online, €30 at the airport) for diving equipment (only) will be waived on scheduled services operated by Air Malta.
The carriage of diving equipement must be in a seperate bag, is limited to 1 piece per person and any 1 piece must not exceed 32 kgs in weight. This offer is made in addition to the usual 20Kgs allowance on all Air Malta flights (for those travelling in economy). Please ensure you request this at the time of booking.
